Apple has finally announced the arrival of the latest MacBook Pro that many fans have been waiting for. As predicted by many, this latest MacBook Pro comes with a number of changes ranging from design, features, and also performance.
Apple MacBook Pro (2021) Features
The first change that is exhibited on this new Apple laptop is the use of the latest Apple M1 Pro and M1 Max chipsets which present a big improvement when compared to the Apple M1 chipset.
The Apple M1 Pro comes with a 10-core CPU and 16-core GPU, while the Apple M1 Max comes with the same 10-core CPU but with a more powerful 32-core GPU. Apple itself claims that this new processor delivers 13 times better graphics performance, 3.7 times CPU performance, and 11x better machine learning than the Apple M1.
The latest MacBook Pro will come in two sizes, 14 and 16 inches, both of which have support for a 120Hz ProMotion refresh rate. Comes with thinner bezels, Apple also offers a fairly large notch, and at the top centre of the notch is a place for a 1080p camera which is surprising because it doesn’t support FaceID.
In addition, Apple has also removed the Touch Bar on the MacBook Pro keyboard and replaced it with physical Function keys.
Apple also brings a number of ports to support its users ranging from HDMI, headphone jack, SDXC card slot, Thunderbolt 4, and also MagSafe to charge at high speeds.
