Many Twitter users hope that an Edit feature will be presented so that users can edit and change the contents of their tweets after uploading them to the platform. However, it seems that Twitter does not want to present this at this time.
In fact, Twitter is currently testing a new feature called Undo, which allows users to retract their tweets.
This feature was first discovered by a social media analyst named Jane Manchun Wong. It also shows what the Undo button will look like and should appear in the notification panel via ‘Your Tweet has been sent’.

“Twitter is working to bring up the ‘Undo Send’ timer for tweets,” wrote Jane Manchun Wong.
But if you think about it, the presence of this feature is explicit. The reason is it doesn’t make any difference if users Delete the tweet they want to withdraw after accidentally being uploaded.
Nevertheless, it is possible that with the presence of this feature, the tweets will not be uploaded until the Undo timer is finished so that users have the opportunity to withdraw their tweets before they are published at all.
