Gionee M7 Power is the latest phone to spot this new smartphone design. Released as one of eight top to low tier phone all spotting “Full View Displays” M7 Power is the most battery-centric.
The M7 Power has a 6in Display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and HD+ resolution of 720 x 1440px.The use of an IPS panel ensured good viewing angles and unsaturated colour. Gionee branding can be found at the bottom of the screen with the fingerprint scanner being moved to the back and On-screen navigation buttons are used.
The M7 power spots rounded edges which have been chamfered to ensure an easy grip with its metallic frame holding in the 5000mAh battery. The power and volume button though made of plastic has a metallic feel to them.
The Gionee M7 Power uses the Snapdragon 435 which has eight Cortex-A53 cores accompanied with 4GB of ram and 64GB Internal Storage. The M7 Power ships with Amigo 5.0 UI based on Android Nougat. It is equipped with a 13MP rear camera and an 8-megapixel selfie camera.
A single speaker positioned alongside the 3.5mm headphone jack and the Micro-USB port can be found at the bottom. The phone uses a Hybrid dual-SIM slot and supports 4G on both sims. You also get Bluetooth 4.1, USB-OTG and an infrared emitter on the top which can be used to control compatible appliances.
The M7 Power packs in a marathon 5,000mAh battery that offers a high-power density of 680 Wh/L.
