Huawei P20 is the 2018 flagship of renowned Chinese smartphone maker – Huawei. As most flagships do make their arrivals with Plus editions, it also makes it out with a Plus version. Anyway, that’s a story for later. At the moment, the Huawei P20 gets the spotlight.
Huawei P20’s frontal design looks like the mind-boggling iPhone X with its possession of bezel-less display and the iconic top notch. The major difference is that while the iPhone X has only the top notch at its fore, Huawei has the top notch and places the fingerprint scanner at the bottom bezel. At the glass designed rear, a dual camera setup is stationed at the top left region with the support of a LED flash. Unlike most flagships that have heavyweights, this smartphone weighs lightly at 167g.
Its display segment is highlighted by the presence of Infinity Display (18.7:9 aspect ratio) on its 5.8 inches LTPS IPS display. This screen display defines media content quality using the 1080 X 2240 pixels resolution and 429PPI pixel density. The OS available on the device is the latest Android Oreo OS, however, it is blended with Huawei’s EMUI 8.1 to provide an exceptional experience.
In the RAM compartment, a 4GB memory is stationed to smoothen the running of apps and seamless multitasking. Files can be stored up to the maximum of 128GB only because no MicroSD card slot was placed in the phone. It’s only if you’re an Oliver that you won’t appreciate the jumbo nature of this internal memory.
At the helm of affairs, Huawei P20 features the Kirin 970 SoC AI. This Huawei owned chipset bags an octa-core CPU that speeds up to 2.4GHz. Mali-G72 MP12 handles the graphics processing of the smartphone.
The dual cameras located at the back of Huawei P20 have 12MP and 20MP sensors as well as a LED flash. Images at the front are executed by a single 24MP camera. In the battery region, a non-removable Li-Po 3,400mAh battery is available. The battery charges quickly as a result of Super Charge technology present on the phone.
