Cryptocurrency is now one of the most popular things lately. The reason is that many people are now starting to save their money in digital currency with the aim of making a profit.
However, the rise of cryptocurrency has now led to the spread of fake crypto applications on the internet. Recently, Trend Micro has discovered 8 Android apps that contain malware that commits cryptocurrency fraud to their users.
The app also pretends to be an app that can mine cryptocurrencies, where users can increase their profits by subscribing to fake services.
Luckily, Trend Micro has reported these 8 apps to Google and they have now been removed from the Play Store. However, users who have already installed the application are advised to delete it.

- Bitcoin Miner – Cloud Mining
- Bitcoin (BTC) – Pool Mining Cloud Wallet
- Crypto Holic – Bitcoin Cloud Mining
- Daily Bitcoin Rewards – Cloud Based Mining System
- Bitcoin 2021
- MineBit Pro – Crypto Cloud Mining & btc miner
- Ethereum (ETH) – Pool Mining Cloud
Certainly, this is a warning to all smartphone users who constantly download and install apps right from Google Play Store.
