The shortage of chips has caused the tablet industry to experience difficulties. This is evident from the latest Canalys report regarding the number of tablet shipments in the third quarter of 2021.

In the report, it is shown that the number of tablets shipped between July to September 2021 decreased by 15% compared to the same quarter last year.

It was also stated that 37.7 million tablets were successfully shipped in Q3 2021, whereas in the same quarter last year, 44.3 million tablets were successfully shipped.

While in the second position is Samsung with a market share percentage of 19.1 percent, followed by Lenovo, Amazon, and also Huawei.
