Because of the coronavirus, Apple secretly launches its new tablet. These are specifications and prices for the iPad Pro 2020 release.
iPad Pro 2020 Features
iPad Pro 2020 comes in two size variants, namely 12.9 inch and 11 inch. By design, there is no difference from its predecessor.
Apple only made additions to the camera on the back. There are two installed, the main camera measuring 12 MP f / 1.8, side by side with a 10 MP f / 2.4 ultrawide camera.
The new iPad Pro camera has 4K recording capability. But that’s not the main attraction, Apple is providing a LiDAR scanner dedicated to augmented reality (AR).
The LiDAR scanner is a ToF depth sensor that works by reflecting a laser from an object to determine its distance from the sensor. This sensor is usually used to map the shape of the earth’s surface accurately in mapping applications, and also on autonomous vehicles.
On the iPad Pro, the sensor works with two cameras and a motion sensor to accurately measure the depth for all types of AR applications.
As the latest generation, iPad Pro certainly has a new processor. Theis devices use the A12Z Bionic chipset. Present in four storage options, namely 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB.
The screen uses ProMotion 120Hz technology, brightness of up to 600 nits and antireflective coatings. The front camera measures 7 MP f / 2.2 which can record 1080p 60fps.
Both of these tablets still use USB Type C ports and support FaceID. The connection uses WiFi 6 and LTE which use eSIM.
Apple equips the new tablet with Magic Keyboard. It has a trackpad, backlight, USB Type C port for charging and a cantilever hinge that allows you to position the iPad to an angle of 130 degrees or make it float.
