Huawei is one of the many technology companies that pledged to launch a smartphone with a folding screen next year.
Recently, Huawei CEO Richard Yu told German newspaper Die Welt that Huawei was working on a smartphone whose screen could be folded.
When asked if there was enough commercial appeal for such devices, Yu said that he saw a smartphone with a foldable screen as the perfect device to replace a computer.
“Why are you still using a computer? Maybe because the smartphone display is too small for you. We will change that. It is conceivable that a display can be folded out.” Yu said.
While it’s true that smartphones have become more advanced technology and people rely on them for more tasks every day, it’s hard to believe that this handheld device will replace the computer in the near future. We look forward to it together.
