To continue the Hot series line up, Infinix crafted out a plastic, well curved and bezel-less display smartphone called Infinix Hot 6. Being the successor of the Infinix Hot 5, this smartphone sports an 18:9 aspect ratio contrary to the 16:9 aspect ratio seen in its predecessor. The bezels of the smartphone are trimmed to the minimum level to accommodate the Full View aspect ratio. Moving towards the device’s rear, the dual camera setup and fingerprint scanner are located beautifully around the top region.
Describing the display of this mobile without highlighting its mammoth 5.7 inches IPS display will be belittling. This display isn’t only large but has an HD+ resolution of 720 X 1440 pixels resolution to relay media content in proper quality.
MediaTek MT6737 chipset operates at the centre of the smartphone; it gathers momentum with a Quad-core 1.3GHz processor. Whereas, the ARM Mali-T720 GPU handles the proper delivery of graphics on the device. The Infinix Android 8.0 Oreo modified OS – XOS Hummingbird 3.3 is the running software of the device. Just so you know, the XOS Hummingbird 3.3 is the latest OS from the Transsion Holding Company.
As running of apps on the phone has to be smooth, a 2GB RAM got incorporated into the device. Although, a 3GB RAM variant of the smartphone exists. Interestingly, the internal storage unit too has variance of 16GB and 32GB for storing files. As a plus, a MicroSD card can be used to increase the amount of storage to 128GB.
Dual rear camera setup comprising of 13MP and 2MP shooters handle the rear photography aspect of the device. Although this is the first Infinix Hot smartphone to sport the dual rear camera setup, Infinix Zero 5 is the first Infinix device to sport a dual rear camera setup. At the front, a 5MP shooter controls the capture of selfies.
Finally, a long-lasting non-removable Li-Po 4,000mAh battery ensures the device stays up for a very long time after charging. Also, Fast Charging technology is present on the device to boost the charging speed.
