Two days ago, we looked at the Lenovo S5 Pro, a Lenovo smartphone with Quad cameras. Another smartphone was announced alongside the smartphone, and that’s the Lenovo K5 Pro.
Lenovo K5 Pro is a very affordable smartphone option compared to its S-series counterpart. Cool features like the 4,050mAh battery, dual selfie camera, dual back shooters and a host of others are what this Asian phone delivers.
At this juncture, we’ll be diving straight into its review.
Lenovo K5 Pro Quick Review
One notable difference between this smartphone and the Lenovo S5 Pro is the outlook. Unlike the notched S5 Pro, Lenovo K5 Pro’s bezel-screen possesses a top bezel and a chin. The top bezel houses the dual selfie cameras as well as a couple of sensors.
The rear region’s camera setup and fingerprint location are in no way different from that of its S-series sibling. However, the Lenovo logo appears in the centre of the base quadrant. Its stereo speakers are placed on its side, and they have SmartPA amps by NXP with Dirac support.
Moving to the display zone, its multimedia is dished out by a 5.99-inch IPS LCD touchscreen with 1080 x 2160 pixels and Full View 18:9 aspect ratio. Of course, multitouch is supported on the display of this 165g smartphone.
Under the hood, Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 governs the smartphone’s operations. It is powered by an octa-core 1.8GHz Kryo 260 CPU and Adreno 509 GPU. The duration stronghold on this smartphone is a powerful 4,050mAh battery, 550mAh capacity larger than the Lenovo S5 Pro’s battery. 18W Quick Charge 3.0 makes the battery charge very fast although there’s no OTG support on the device.
16MP main shooter and 5MP depth camera are in charge of the selfies taken at the front of the smartphone. In dark conditions, the multi-frame noise reduction helps it in taking improved photographs. The same quality is at the back to oversee the rear “phonography”. Additionally, the rear region has a dual-tone dual-LED flash to take better low-light shots.
