Earlier this month, Realme gave a sneak peek at its upcoming 13 Pro series, showcasing its design. Although the brand confirmed the smartphones would be released in July, it did not provide a specific date at the time. However, Realme has now disclosed that the series will be officially launched in India on July 30.
The series consists of two models: the Realme 13 Pro and the Realme 13 Pro+. Both smartphones will be available in three colors: Emerald Green, Monet Gold, and Monet Purple. The Emerald Green version will feature a vegan leather back, providing a unique texture and feel. In contrast, the Monet Gold and Monet Purple models will have sleek glass panels.
Realme revealed that the design of the Realme 13 Pro series was created in collaboration with the Museum of Fine Arts (MFA) in Boston. The series draws inspiration from the works of French painter Oscar-Claude Monet, specifically his “Haystacks” and “Water Lilies” paintings.
The Monet Gold model captures the essence of Monet’s golden haystacks under the sun, exuding warmth and tranquility. On the other hand, the Monet Purple version reflects the serene beauty of blooming water lilies, symbolizing elegance and vitality.
Realme also revealed that the 13 Pro series will feature Miracle Shining Glass and a Sunrise Halo design. The Miracle Shining Glass incorporates millions of shimmering particles brushed onto high-gloss AG glass, replicating the dynamic interplay of light and shadow seen in Monet’s artwork.
The Sunrise Halo design offers a 360° luxury watch-level texture, with each detail showcasing meticulous craftsmanship. This design not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of the smartphones but also improves user comfort, contributing to the overall premium feel of the devices.
Realme further announced that both the Realme 13 Pro and Pro+ would be equipped with 50MP Sony LYTIA sensors. Although the brand hasn’t fully detailed the camera setups for both models, it did confirm that the Pro+ will boast a “dual main camera system.”
The camera system includes a 50MP primary camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom. The primary camera will use the Sony LYT-701 sensor, while the telephoto unit will feature the Sony LYT-600 sensor.
Additionally, Realme mentioned that the 50MP cameras on the 13 Pro+ have received the TUV Rheinland High Resolution Camera Certification, ensuring high-quality performance and resolution.
