Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) shines from the front and back with Corning Gorilla Glass. The smartphone is well designed to the point that it has the IP68 certification thus, making it water and dust resistant. Around the back, the fingerprint scanner is positioned below the camera for easy reach of the index finger. Boasting of the Super AMOLED display, the smartphone possesses a large 5.6 inches screen with a resolution of 1080 X 2220 pixels and 441 PPI pixel density. Added to that, the display comes with an Infinity Display of 18.5:9 aspect ratio and the Always-on display.

Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) multitasks with ease given the 4GB RAM available. The chipset operational on the phone is the Samsung Exynos 7885. This chipset carries an octa-core CPU that clocks at 2.2GHz. Meanwhile, graphics card on the smartphone is the ARM Mali-G71, so gaming duties have fewer glitches. Sadly enough, the latest Android OS wasn’t implemented on the device, instead, it’s the Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS.
