After Sony officially announced the full specifications of the next-gen gaming console, the PlayStation 5, many are now curious about what kind of performance the console brings.
Previously System Architect from PS5, Mark Cerny said that the PlayStation 5 console will come with faster performance than PlayStation 4, now Sony’s president, Kenichiro Yoshida, has also confirmed this.
Through his presentation, Kenichiro Yoshida mentioned that the PlayStation 5 console will come with data processing capabilities 100 times faster than PlayStation 4.
“To improve the experience while playing, we not only increase the resolution, but also the loading speed. With a specially designed SSD, we plan to realize data processing 100 times faster than PS4,” said Yoshida.
Indeed, one of the advantages that the PlayStation 5 console will have is the presence of a special SSD that has a very fast processing speed because it makes RAID 0 the SSD configuration.
