Microsoft has just announced the presence of the Windows 11 operating system which is the successor to Windows 10 with a number of visual changes and the presence of new features to improve the user experience.
Moreover, Microsoft also mentioned that later Windows 11 will be present as a free upgrade for Windows 10 users.
Even though it comes as a free upgrade, it turns out that not all devices can run the new Windows 11. Then how do we know whether our device supports the Windows 11 operating system or not?
Microsoft is known to present the PC Health Check App to check whether your device will support Windows 11 or not. You can update the PC Health Check App or download the latest version on the official Microsoft website.
But Microsoft also provides more detailed information regarding the minimum specifications of the new OS, here are the details:
These are the Minimum Specifications to Install Windows 11
- A 64-bit processor with 1GHz or faster with 2 or more cores
- 4GB of RAM
- 64GB or more of storage
- Trusted Platform Module (TPM) version 2.0
- Graphics card compatible with DirectX 12 or later with WDDM 2.0 driver
The plan is that Windows 11 will launch in 2021, although the exact date is not yet known. Do you want to upgrade to Windows 11 or stay loyal to Windows 10 or Windows with an even older version? Kindly share your thoughts in the comment box below.
