Some time ago, the United States government, through the leadership of Donald Trump, blacklisted Xiaomi which means Xiaomi investors in the US were prohibited from investing again.
After investigating, it was reported that the United States considered Xiaomi to have ties to the military in China, thus threatening the security of his country.
However, this was strongly denied by Xiaomi. Finally, a series of protests were carried out so that Xiaomi could avoid the blacklist. This turned out to be successful and now Xiaomi is free from the blacklist.
It stated the US federal court had postponed the ban because it did not see Xiaomi as a dangerous company as stated by Trump and his members.
Hearing the good news, Xiaomi announced that they were very happy to see this decision being made and allowed US companies to re-invest in their companies.
“We are happy that the decision given by the US court has removed restrictions on US citizens and companies from buying our securities,” said Xiaomi through his official statement.
