WhatsApp has long informed its users that it will stop providing support from its application for a number of older devices with Android and iOS operating systems.
Now the company again urges older iPhone users that starting from November 1, 2021, there will be a termination of support as well as blocking of WhatsApp services on devices running the old version of the iOS operating system.
In more detail, iOS devices must now have at least an iOS 10 operating system and above in order to run WhatsApp.
Here are iPhone devices that will definitely not be able to use WhatsApp again after November 1, 2021:
- iPhone
- iPhone 3G
- iPhone 3GS
- iPhone 4
- iPhone 4S
In addition, there are also 8 other iPhone models that are threatened with not being able to use WhatsApp again unless they have upgraded to the iOS 10 operating system and above.

- iPhone 5C
- iPhone 5S
- iPhone 6
- iPhone 6 Plus
- iPhone 6S
- iPhone 6S Plus
- iPhone SE (First Generation)
Meanwhile, for Android devices, WhatsApp will discontinue its application support for devices that are still running the Android operating system 4.0.4 or below.
