Alienware has just released their newest gaming laptop, namely m15. Alienware gaming desktops and laptops (a brand name from Dell) is not really known for the thin and/or compact designed products.
Surprisingly enough, Dell has been able to make the Alienware M15 14 percent lighter than the Alienware 13, a 13-inch gaming laptop. In contrast to the 13-inch model, the M15 has a 15.6-inch screen on board. The weight of the laptop is not even that high anymore, about 2.18 kilos. The old model, on the other hand, could not be lifted, and with a weight of 3.5 kg it was one of the heaviest gaming laptops.
According to the source, the Alienware m15 is the lightest and thinnest 15” gaming laptop ever from Alienware and the best solution for gamers who prioritize weight and thinness allowing for even more portability.
Despite the lower weight, the laptop is not much below in specifications. Dell gives you the choice of an 8th generation Intel Core i5-8300H or Intel Core i7-8750H, which gives you 4 or 6 cores respectively. This can be combined with up to 16 GB of RAM, not too conspicuous: many other Alienware laptops also have a maximum of 16 GB of RAM.
There is also more than enough storage memory available, for example, a 1 TB SSD and 1 TB SSHD can be combined. Also, one of the main components of the computer is the graphics card. Alienware says that the configurations will rise to a Nvidia Geforce GTX 1070 Max-Q, as standard the Alienware M15 comes with an overclocked version of the GTX 1060.
Alienware also has a number of options for the screen… Basically, the Alienware M15 gives Dell a Full-HD IPS panel with a 60 Hz refresh rate. Fortunately, there is also a model with a Full-HD screen and a 144 Hz refresh rate. Finally, there is a 4K screen with a 60 Hz refresh rate, which is not surprising: producing more frames at that resolution will be difficult for all available graphics cards.
In addition, this laptop will be released on October 25, 2018, at a price of US $1,299 (approx. N470,000 Naira in Nigeria). So what do you think about the new m15 Alienware laptop?
