Last year we saw the Nokia 1 launch at the MWC 2018 becoming the first Nokia device to sport an Android Go Oreo operating system, this year HMD launches its successor, Nokia 1.1 Plus.
Nokia 1.1 Plus is one of the newest budget smartphones launched by HMD at the MWC 2019 in Barcelona, Spain. This device is the first ever Android Go phone with Pie out of the box and surely the cheapest of the three mid-rangers. The Nokia 4.2 and Nokia 3.2 are the other two and both sports the Android One operating system.

Nokia 1.1 + Quick Review
In terms of design, this device is different from Nokia 4.2 and Nokia 3.2. Besides not having a notch on the screen, the back of this handset is made of plastic.
At the front, the Nokia 1.1 Plus has a 5.45-inch screen with 960 x 480 pixels resolution.
This smartphone also has a single 8MP resolution camera on its back. On the front, there is also a 5MP resolution selfie camera.
Nokia 1.1 Plus is powered by the MediaTek MT6739WW chipset which is combined with 1GB RAM and a variant of 8GB/16GB storage media.
This economic device has 2,500mAh battery capacity and runs on Android 9.0 Pie GO Edition Operating System. The smartphone is available in Black, Blue and Red colour options and will start shipping from early March.
Unlike the ‘brothers’, the Nokia 1.1 Plus does not have a dedicated button for the Google Assistant, a power button with LED lights, and a fingerprint scanner sensor.
This smartphone is offered at a price of US $99 or (approx. N35,000 – N40,000 naira).
