Increasingly favoured on the iOS and Android platforms, monthly active users of popular online games among children, Roblox, are reported to have reached 90 million.
This achievement is known to increase 20 million from September 2018 which recorded 70 million monthly active users.
Quoting TechCrunch, the increase in the number of users was also followed by an increase in valuations, which currently reached $2.5 billion or around N900 billion naira.
Roblox expansion into the global market is one of the reasons for the increasing number of users. One of them is the availability of German and French in the game.

With visual avatars similar to Lego games, Roblox is popular among gamers under the age of 18. The popularity of this game is also increasing due to word of mouth promotion.
In addition, many children also see reviews of this game on YouTube before trying it out.
Roblox was built by the community, so Roblox Corporation as a developer implemented a revenue sharing system.
In 2017, Roblox paid the creator community for $30 million (N10.8 billion naira). This number reportedly doubled the following year.
Besides English, German and French, Roblox is also available in Portuguese and Spanish. The Roblox team plans to add more language lists in the coming months.
