Nokia is rumoured to be releasing their latest technology for folding-screen phones this year.
Quoting Phone Arena, HMD Global is rumoured to be introducing a Nokia folding screen phone in late 2020 or early 2021. The unknown product has already been made in prototype form, completed since mid-2019 then.
A tipster named Nokia Anew said the product was ready to be used this month so it might be brought to the MWC 2020 electronic event in Barcelona, Spain, next month.
Until now, it is not yet known what form or specifications of the folding screen phone made by Nokia.
The phone is reportedly going to be folded in the form of Z, a double fold which is not currently available on folding screen phones that have been circulating in the market.
The folding screen phone from Nokia is said to be competing with the Motorola Razr, which is said to be the cheapest device in the folding screen phone segment for US $ 1,499 (approx. N541,000 naira in Nigeria).
Samsung, which had already made a folding-screen phone, sold Galaxy Fold for N825,000 naira in Nigeria (Check offer on Jumia).
