China’s VERTU has announced the premium Snapdragon 888-equipped smartphone “iVERTU 5G” in China.
iVERTU 5G Features
iVERTU 5G is a smartphone released by VERTU in June 2021. This smartphone is equipped with Snapdragon 888 SM8350 2.84GHz octa-core, an SoC with high-end processing power. The screen size is 6.67 inches and it is an FHD + (2400 x 1080) display. It is 8.76 mm thick, weighs 200g, and comes in brown, blue, green, black and 8 other colours.
It is a premium model with a leather exterior, and the specifications are almost the same as the ZTE Axon 30 Pro.
It features a 64-megapixel quad camera and an AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The OS is the latest Android 11 (Vertu OS), has a battery capacity of 4200mAh and supports 55W quick charging, the connection port is USB Type-C, there is no availability of earphone port, and biometric authentication is compatible with the fingerprint authentication sensor (under-display).

There are 8 colours including brown, blue, green and black. It will go on sale in China in June 2021, and the price is 16,800 yuan (approximately ₦1.1 Million in Nigeria) for the calf leather version and 39,800 yuan (about ₦2.5 Million) for the crocodile leather version.
