Usually, Google presents the new version of Android at the annual conference for developers. However, despite this year the Mountain View giant had already released two developer preview of Android N , the news is not missed.

Today, Google released the third of Android Developer Preview N, also referred to as the first quality beta of the next version of the mobile operating system. Besides the usual performance improvements and bug fixes, the new release brings a new upgrade system , similar to that of Chrome OS. The update will in fact be downloaded and installed automatically without any user intervention.

Android N also introduces support to multiwindows, updated graphics API and performance improved significantly. With the new version of the operating system, the ‘installation of apps should be 75% faster and, similarly, the applications should take up less space on your device. Android N also includes more than 72 new emoji.

Google has introduced a feature that allows you to quickly switch to the application that was previously used by double tap on key recent apps. In addition, if the applications stored in memory are not used for a while, now they close automatically. You may want to close all other applications in the background with a single button at the top right of the multitasking screen.

You can take part in the beta if you have one of the following devices: Nexus 6, Nexus 9, Nexus 5X, 6P Nexus, Nexus Player, Pixel C or General Mobile Android One (4G). To participate, you must follow the instructions on the page, since we don’t use any of the device listed, let’s just wait patiently. Do you know that Google has left to you the choice to choose the official name of Android N?
