Apple has held an annual event titled WWDC where it announced the arrival of the new iOS 15 with a number of improvements focused on the application.
iOS 15 Features
It is known that iOS 15 does not bring changes to the appearance that is too extreme like previous versions of iOS, here Apple is more about adding features to its default applications such as FaceTime and Maps.
Apple also announced the Spatial audio feature in FaceTime where users can now hear the direction the sound is coming from when FaceTime and using AirPods devices.
In addition, FaceTime also supports Portrait Mode which will produce an artificial bokeh effect so that the focus will be on people and not on the background.
Then Apple also announced the SharePlay feature which allows users to share the iPhone screen with others such as to watch movies simultaneously on more than 1 device.
As for Apple Maps, this application gets a major update where Apple Maps now displays street details in more detail thanks to AR support and 3D navigation, although this is nothing new for Google Maps users.
Apple also presents several minor updates for other applications such as iMessage, Apple Wallet, to the presence of a notification summary to make it easier for users to view a collection of notifications.
