Currently, there are rumours about the folding smartphone made by Apple. Previously there was news that the smartphone would be launched in 2023.
However, recently there is new information from The Elec site from South Korea which states that the foldable smartphone from Apple will be launched at the earliest in 2024 and that has not been confirmed yet.
This information says that Apple still doesn’t get its foldable smartphone components until 2023. So that’s why the most plausible time for Apple to launch its folding smartphone is in 2024.
But of course, it is quite a long time considering that many smartphone manufacturers have started to launch folding smartphones, for example, Samsung and Huawei. Samsung is known to have succeeded in selling 2.5 million units of foldable smartphones in 2020 and is said to continue to increase in 2021.
One of the problems with today’s folding smartphones is the price. The average foldable smartphone sold today has an exorbitant price and many people choose to buy a flagship smartphone at a price that can be equivalent or cheaper.
