Canon has just launched its latest mirrorless camera, the EOS M200. This camera is equipped with a number of features that are more adequate than the previous generation.
The latest features in the Canon EOS M100’s successor camera include the latest image processor, 4K video recording, to the face and eye detection of subjects automatically for autofocus.
Canon EOS M200 Features
The Canon EOS M200 has been equipped with 4K video recording with a frame rate of 24 FPS (1.6x crop), along with the Digic 8 image processor as an improvement from the Digic 7 image processor on the Canon EOS M100.
For slow-motion video recording, this camera is capable of recording HD resolution video with a frame rate of 120 FPS.
In terms of image sensors, the Canon EOS M200 is still supported by an APS-C image sensor of 24.1MP, the same as the previous generation.
In terms of design, the Canon EOS M200 is also similar to its predecessor. The touchscreen LCD screen that is owned by the camera can both be bent upwards 180 degrees so that it faces forward. Make it easy to use for vlogging or selfies.
Other features include a tool called Feature Assistant that can be used to find out each function in various camera shooting modes. This information will be displayed on the LCD screen when the user switches from one mode to another.
EOS M200 Price and Availability
Canon packages this new mirrorless camera with the EF-M 15-45mm F4.5-6.3 IS STM lens, which is offered for US $549 (approx. N198,000 naira in Nigeria).
Available in two colour variants, namely black and white, the Canon EOS M200 can be obtained at Canon’s online store and other Canon partners in October.
