At CES, gamers also do not have to wait for their hunger. Gaming companies are also present at the fair and show themselves from their best side. Among others, Dell also participates in this market and has now announced a new addition to its gaming laptops, namely the G5 and G7 series.
Dell G5 and G7 series
First, there are two formats for these new laptops: 17.3 inches (G7) and 15 inches (G5). The G7 series laptops are available with the brand new NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Max-Q GPUs and can contain up to an 8th generation Intel Core i9-8950HK processor with 6 cores. This is without doubt sufficient computing power to play all current games without problems. In addition, the RAM can reach an enormous 32GB.
The screens themselves also do not disappoint. The 17-inch models come with a Full HD screen that has a refresh rate of 144 Hz. The 15-inch laptops also have an optional 4K OLED touch display with a refresh rate of 60Hz. Despite the portable size, the devices weigh quite a lot, but you just have to have something left for laptops with such computing power.
With the G5 series, Dell has mainly thought about the novice gamers who are satisfied with a gaming laptop with lower specifications, but still very solid. There is the G5 15, with a special white version, which has an 8th generation Intel Core i7-8750 CPU with 6 cores and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q graphics card and completed with a Full HD 144 Hz screen.
No idea when these laptops will be available in the Nigeria market but the laptops will appear in the US from mid-January and prices start at $999 (approx. N365,000 naira).
