Huawei seems to be the first smartphone vendor to try Fuchsia OS, a new mobile operating system that is being developed by Google.
In a new upload, a technician from Huawei revealed that the Chinese smartphone giant was trying Fuchsia OS on devices using their own chipset, Kirin 970. The first device to try the new operating system was Honor Play.
9to5 Google launched, Huawei’s gaming smartphone will be the first Android device to be tested using Fuchsia OS. Huawei is a company other than Google that contributes to the brand-new mobile operating system.
Honor Play is one smartphone that uses Kirin 970. It’s possible, another Huawei smartphone that also uses Kirin 970 – Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro, Mate 10 Porsche Design, P20, P20 Pro, Mate Porsche Design Hospital, Honor View 10, Honor 10, Nova 3, and Honor Note 10 – will be compatible with Fuchsia OS in the future.
