itel S15 Announced With Dewdrop Display and Gallery Go

itel Mobile has taken the wraps off a smartphone that’ll interest budget smartphone lovers. This is none other than the itel S15. For the records, this is the first itel Smartphone with the dewdrop design. Also, the Chinese company teams up with Google to launch the Gallery Go for the first time on this smartphone.

Interestingly, the Google Go app is a stripped-down version of the Google Photos designed for entry-level smartphones. It is equipped with Auto Enhance mode, offline data usage and auto organization amongst others. But as it is, this smartphone is the first to come pre-installed with the new Go app.

Holding on to the itel S15, the dewdrop notch instantly speaks of the phone’s goodness. As it is, this dewdrop design has taken over the world of smartphones, that’s me digressing. This smartphone entertains the notch cutout on its massive 6.1-inch IPS display.

The display works hand in hand with an HD+ resolution to control the quality of output. More so, the display is blessed with 19.5:9 aspect ratio, so that’s more screen estate to play around with.

At the top of the screen is the amazing 16MP front camera that handles selfies. That’s highly anticipated because the phone belongs to itel selfie-focused lineup. Turning backwards, dual 8MP cameras are vested with the power to capture images and videos all day and night long.

itel S15 bounces off the box with Android 9.0 Pie Go Edition. Asides the Gallery Go app, others like YouTube Go, Google Go and Gmail Go are some of the smartphone’s pre-installed apps. Quad-core SC7731E CPU (Unisoc) controls the mode of operations on the phone. Its memory coefficients are the 1GB RAM and 16GB internal storage.

Fingerprint sensor is mounted at the rear while Face Unlock is carried out by the selfie shooter. The device is powered by a 3,000mAh battery and AI power master to give you a durable smartphone usage.
