LG Candy is a Budget Smartphone from LG

Budget smartphones from the big guns in the game don’t come too often. So, when they do, we give them the deserved accolades. LG Candy is the latest entry-level smartphone from one of the big smartphone OEM – LG.

The phone sports features 4G LTE network like most smartphones these days do. In fact, phones like Moto Z3 already works with 5G.

Starting with the mobile’s display, there’s the 5.0 inches IPS screen with 720 x 1280 pixels. This HD resolution teams up with 295PPI pixel density to coordinate the display’s crispness. Also, a 16:9 aspect ratio is in the picture, not the 18:9 aspect ratio.

The LG Candy features interchangeable back covers, one of the key features that surrounded its announcement. Outside this quality, the back cover is made up of plastic, and it’s responsible for protecting the battery. The phone weighs 152g altogether while its dimensions are 146.3 x 73.2 x 8.2 mm.

Android 7.1.2 Nougat OS is functional on this device. Although it seems like a turn off, it can actually be upgraded to Android Oreo OS once LG releases the update. At the middle of the park, a Quad-core Cortex-A53 running at 1.3GHz speed takes charge of the smartphone’s operations.

In line with the phone’s performance, a 2GB LPDDR3 RAM is integrated into the smartphone. For storage of files, an in-built 16GB ROM is present. As a plus, a MicroSD slot is availed to increase the memory to 512GB using a MicroSD card. A removable and  replaceable 2,500mAh battery is what provides the needed duration on this piece of tech.
