Recently, we looked at the LG Q9, a smartphone with military grade specifications such as the MIL-STD-810G drop resilience, water resistance and more. To spice things up, LG has introduced an Android One edition of the same smartphone – LG G9 One. As it comes with the stock Android OS, it also comes with a few new features.

LG Q9 One Quick Review
Similar to the LG Q9, LG Q9 One appears in the favorite notch design and minimal bezels. On the side of the smartphone, the volume and power buttons are arranged for their respective purposes. Turning to the back of the device, one gets greeted with the rear camera, LED flash, fingerprint sensor, LG Q9 One and “android one” logos. It is made in only the Moroccan Blue colour edition.
Next up is the display segment. The 6.1 inch screen relays excellent visuals due to the 1440 x 3120 pixels resolution and 576PPI pixel density. More so, there’s the luxury of 19.5:9 aspect ratio which gives the fuller screen estate.
For the optics, you have the 16MP back shooter that’s supported with f/1.6 aperture and LED flash for brightness. On the reverse, an 8MP sensor equipped with f/1.9 aperture sees to the exception of amazing images.
Under the hood, Snapdragon 835 SoC (Qualcomm’s 2017 flagship chip) is the commander of operations on the device. Loaded with 4GB RAM, the chipset’s performance level is heightened. Completing the memory section is the massive 64GB internal storage. Interesting enough, it can expand to 2TB once a MicroSD card is employed.
Bluetooth 5.0, the latest Bluetooth version provides a means of connectivity on the smartphone. Other forms of connectivity are Wi-Fi, Hotspot, GPS, NFC, 2G, 3G, 4G, VoLTE and USB-C. Android 9.0 Pie in its purest form, that is, Android One serves as the OS of this phone, and the battery capacity remains the same 3,000mAh found in Q9.
