Meizu E3 is a smartphone from Meizu that’s not only a beast engine-wise but also a beast camera-wise. I’m sure you aren’t too familiar with Meizu, so I’ll do a brief description of the brand. Meizu, just like Tecno, Infinix and Huawei, is a Chinese-based smartphone manufacturer. The company started out with making of MP3/MP4 players in the year 2003. In 2008, the company launched its smartphone lineup, and currently, they rank as the 11th largest smartphone manufacturer in the world. For now, that’s enough digression, let’s see what the Meizu E3 has to offer.

Meizu E3 has a jumbo 5.99-inch IPS glass incorporated into its metallic body. The display boasts of 1080 X 2160 pixels resolution as well as 403PPI pixel density. Orientating an 18:9 aspect ratio, the device looks appealing with its bezel-less display. Android 7.1.2 Nougat OS runs as the software of the smartphone although it can be upgraded to the Android Oreo OS. Nonetheless, it is coated with the Flyme 7.0 UI. Uniqueness is written all over this smartphone as it sports its fingerprint scanner on its right side. That makes the fingerprint scanner usage as easy as using the power button.

In the camera category, Meizu E3 has a dual camera setup wherein a 12MP primary snapper (with f/1.9 aperture) and a secondary 20MP secondary snapper (with f/2.6 aperture) are stationed. As expected, a dual-LED flash is in place to provide illumination in dark conditions. At the front, an 8MP shooter handles the shooting of images. Moving ahead, Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC sits at the seat of power to oversee the operations of the smartphone. It is powered with an octa-core CPU that clocks at 1.8GHz. Also, the graphics card mounted on the device is the Adreno 509 GPU.

In its bigly nature, the device sports a 6GB RAM to control smooth running of apps while its internal memory section has a 64GB capacity that can be expanded to 256GB with the use of a MicroSD card. However, there’s a bigger 128GB variant of the smartphone for those with the Oliver Twist nature. Meizu E3 is powered by a non-removable Li-Ion 3,360mAh battery. Finally, it charges fast due to Fast Charging technology present on it.
