Currently, the MIUI 12.5 update has not yet been released to all smartphones made by Xiaomi. However, it is reported that the Chinese company is now ready to launch a newer version, MIUI 13.
Based on sources from China, it was stated that this modified Xiaomi Android-based operating system would be launched in the second half of 2021, to be precise on June 25, 2021. It was also stated that later the Xiaomi devices that will get the latest MIUI 13 update will be devices launched in 2019 and above.
This means that the MIUI 13 update will not be present in several smartphone lines such as the Mi 9, Mi Mix 3, to popular models such as the Redmi Note 8 Series and the Redmi 8 Series.
Until now, there is still no information regarding what changes Xiaomi has brought to its new MIUI 13. But many are hoping that MIUI 13 will come with a design update to customize the latest Android UI, more optimized animations, new themes, to performance and security improvements.
