It is not the first time that Motorola has launched a product in its One-lineup. In 2018 already appeared the (cheaper) Moto One Power, the first Android One device from the manufacturer. This time follows the Motorola One Vision, a device that is characterized by the 21:9 screen in front of the One Vision.

Furthermore, the company bets on the 48MP sensor on the back of the device, with which it could shoot detailed photos. The device was launched a few weeks ago.

Let’s delve deeper into the full features, specifications and price of the Motorola One Vision.

One Vision Features (Preview)

The name says it all, the One Vision is focused on the 6.3-inch screen present at the front of the device. The screen has a Full-HD + resolution with an aspect ratio of 21: 9. You don’t see that all too often on smartphones; Sony was one of the first manufacturers to introduce it to the Xperia 1 and 10 (Plus).

Furthermore, as far as I am concerned, it is positive to see that Motorola has banned the regular notch because there is a hole punch notch present. The hole in the LCD panel provides space for the 25MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture. At the back, we find a 48MP sensor with an f/1.7 aperture, together with a 5MP sensor for photos of the portrait mode.

Where most manufacturers of Android One phones opt for Qualcomm or MediaTek SoCs, Motorola has clearly chosen a different route. Instead, the Exynos 9609 processor has been chosen instead.

In the area of storage, it is equipped with a 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Is that not enough? Then you can also expand the memory of the Motorola One Vision through a microSD card up to 512GB.

In terms of software, you don’t have to worry about it in the coming years, the Android One program gives you at least two Android upgrades (to Q and R), as well as three years of security patches. You usually see that with high-end phones, but now also with the One Vision.

In terms of battery life, according to Motorola, you can count on one full day based on the 3,500 mAh battery, although that is different for everyone. Just fifteen minutes of charging gives the One Vision enough capacity to last up to seven hours. Note that these are claims that are based on theoretical expectations; this could turn out differently in practice.
