In a subscription service, users who have not used the service for a long time will definitely still have to pay a subscription fee if the service has not been manually cancelled.

Of course, this makes a number of users disadvantaged, they must continue to pay subscription fees even though the service is not used at all.

It turned out to be taken seriously by Netflix, it is known that Netflix is now implementing a new system where they will cancel the user’s subscription automatically if the user is inactive for more than one year.

“We will ask people who haven’t watched anything on Netflix for a year since joining to confirm whether they still want to subscribe or not,” Netflix said as reported by Ubergizmo.

If the user does not respond to messages that have been sent by Netflix, the system will automatically terminate the user’s subscription to avoid users paying again.

Netflix says that they don’t want their users to pay for something they don’t use at all.
