OPPO will follow in the footsteps of Samsung, Apple and Huawei, by planning to make their own self-designed mobile chipsets.
Quoting GSMArena, the chipset will be used for the latest OPPO devices in the future.
Based on the trademark submitted to the EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office), the chipset will be named OPPO M1.
OPPO has reportedly recruited engineers from the Speadtrum and MediaTek chipset companies to work on the manufacture of OPPO M1.
However, the vendor from China has not yet opened the voice about the chipset. OPPO is expected to reveal more information about the chipset in 2020 at the 2020 Mobile World Congress (MWC) technology exhibition.
