Samsung W20 5G – A Galaxy Fold With Improved Specifications

Samsung has just announced the presence of a folding screen smartphone named W20 5G in China. This device is actually a Galaxy Fold with slightly improved specifications.

Features

If the Galaxy Fold is controlled by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset, the Samsung W20 5G comes with a more capable chipset, the Snapdragon 855+.

As the name suggests, the smartphone, which is exclusive to China Telecom’s customers, is already equipped with a fifth-generation (5G) cellular network connection capability.

In general, the Samsung W20 5G specifications are the same as Galaxy Fold, i.e a 7.3-inch Dynamic AMOLED screen on the inside and a 4.6-inch Super AMOLED secondary screen on the front side.

Samsung packed this brand-new smartphone with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal memory (RAM) and powered by a 4235mAh battery. The battery is slightly smaller than the capacity of the 4380mAh battery that Galaxy Fold has.

Samsung W20 5G is also equipped with six cameras with a composition of three cameras on the outside rear (16MP + 12MP + 12MP), two cameras on the inside (10MP + 8MP), and one camera on the outside screen (10MP).

Also present is a fingerprint sensor that is placed on the edge of the smartphone body.

This smartphone will go on sale in China starting in early December with official prices that have not been announced.

It is estimated that the Samsung W20 5G will be priced slightly more expensive than the Galaxy Fold which is sold in China at a price of 15,999 yuan (approx. N823,000 naira).
