Samsung Galaxy M series is the dawn of a new mid-range series from the giant Korean manufacturer. You can almost mistake the M in the appellation for Mid-range. Well, Samsung hasn’t come out to confirm that but what’s certain is that Samsung Galaxy M20 belongs to this category.
The newly unveiled smartphone, Galaxy M20, was announced alongside Samsung Galaxy M10 and Samsung Galaxy M30 which are the other devices in this fresh lineup.

Samsung Galaxy M20 Quick Review
Asides being a partaker in the launch of the new series, the smartphone initiates the Infinity-V notch. Infinity-V notch is Samsung’s version of the famous dewdrop notch. For the uninitiated, dewdrop notch (alias waterdrop notch) holds a small portion of the screen with a camera serving as its sole occupant.
Speaking of the notch’s camera, an 8MP sensor capable of shooting HDR images and 1080p videos is the minister of affairs. Flipping the phone to the rear, you’ll be greeted with the dual-camera setup. I’m sure you saw that coming. The cameras are composed of 13MP and 5MP lenses. A LED flash also provides support there.
Interesting enough, it isn’t only the camera department that delivers 1080p property, the phone’s 6.3-inch screen also has this feature. In the screen’s case, the 1080p resolution tags along with 409PPI pixel density for excellent visuals.
Last week, Samsung launched the Exynos 7904 for its mid-range phones; this week, it gets announced with the Galaxy M20. That’s some statement. It uses a 14nm FinFET process technology and octa-core 1.8GHz CPU to carve out its operations entirely. Also on it is the Mali-G71 GPU for graphics relay.
This device is one of the Samsung phones with big batteries, you’re guaranteed more than a day’s usage thanks to the gigantic 5,000mAh battery in the phone. Memory options are: 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM & 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM. Android 8.1 Oreo OS blended with Experience 9.5 governs the software functions on the device.
