TECNO is looking to join the train of smartphone OEMs who possess smartphones with AI capabilities. The next Camon phone is the smartphone TECNO aims to start the revolution with. As the Camon series focuses on fantastic photography, TECNO plans to integrate four cameras on this new device.

AI-supported smartphones are not new to the tech savvy folks amidst us. It’s been one of the trends that rocked 2018. Mentioning the smartphones with such support will take the whole day, honestly! But TECNO’s closest competitor in Nigeria, Infinix has implemented AI in the Infinix Note 5. In fact, the smartphone was touted with the catchphrase “Beyond Intelligence”.

If the reports on our hands are something to go by, TECNO should announce a Camon smartphone with AI enablement this month. That’s pretty intriguing, I know. But it gets very exciting to know that this upcoming TECNO Camon smartphone will also sport four cameras.

Renders have revealed two cameras present at the phone’s back and two shooters also at its front. The rear cameras will be 16MP + 16MP while the front-facing setup will hold 25MP primary lens + 5MP AI depth sensors. Added to this, the smartphone will also be presented in a notched display.

This isn’t the first TECNO smartphone with notch design as the TECNO Camon i2 takes the pioneering spot. Back to the matter, the next TECNO Camon smartphone in this picture will also come in two variants – a standard version and a Pro version.
