Twitter is looking for ways to monetize its social media services. The microblogging company owned by Jack Dorsey also has several plans to make the app better for its users, one of such improvements is the presence of Super Follows features.
Super Followers itself will be Twitter’s first attempt to find new ways to monetise Twitter. This feature will present a number of benefits for users who are interested in paying to get access to exclusive content from their Twitter favs.
It is stated that Super Follows provide several benefits such as viewing content uploaded exclusively by creators, discounts for certain products, and also badges for supporters.

As a matter of fact, the Super Follow feature is similar to the member subscription feature that is currently implemented on YouTube. By pressing the Join button, followers can get exclusive content and badges.
According to Twitter, the presence of this feature will help creators and publishers to get money from their followers. But of course, Twitter will also receive a percentage that serves as additional revenue for Twitter apart from advertising.
However, there is no information regarding the cost of subscribing to the Super Followers feature. That said, let’s just wait for further information!
When this feature is fully functional, would you Super Follow your favourites on Twitter? Does paying to get exclusive content on Twitter sound like a good deal or a deal-breaker for you? Kindly share your thoughts on this in the comment box below, I’d like to hear from you.
