The Chinese company UMIDIGI decided not only to catch up but also to get ahead of most of its competitors in a short time. As one of the first smartphones in the world to feature a 48MP Sony IMX586 camera, accompanied with 5150mAh battery and ceramic design, UMIDIGI’s upcoming flagship UMIDIGI S3 Pro is confirmed to land in on 18th February before MWC 2019.
Here we got some UMIDIGI S3 Pro prototype photos. The photos show that the S3 Pro will have the classy ceramic back with well-rounded sides and corners, which are impressive. One the front, it will sport a waterdrop full screen with a narrow chin. Also, glad to see the headphone jack is preserved.
UMIDIGI S3 Pro Specs
Spec-wise, the UMIDIGI S3 Pro is one of the world’s first smartphones to offer a 48MP Sony IMX586 CMOS sensor to offer superior clarity and detail. While the sensor measures 1/2 inch, offers 0.8-micron pixel, and it can offer a large 1.6-micron pixels when in low light. There is also a secondary telephoto camera on board to obtain depth information and provide 2x Optical Zoom. At the front, it comes with a 20MP high-resolution selfie camera. Under the hood, the S3 Pro will be packed with 5150mAh big battery and the smartphone beholds the AI SoC MediaTek Helio P70 with 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB internal storage. It will carry a 6.3-inch FHD+ waterdrop full screen paired with in-cell LTPS technology. As stated, the S3 Pro will run on Android 9 Pie OS out of the box.
UMIDIGI S3 Pro is confirmed to go official on 18th February.
