WhatsApp is currently one of the most widely used online messaging services. Recently the company celebrated the 12th anniversary of its service in 2021.
To commemorate this birthday, WhatsApp provided information regarding its services, which are already used by more than 2 billion active users worldwide.
Through its official Twitter account, WhatsApp said that every month, 1 billion voice calls and 100 billion messages are sent on the Facebook-owned messaging service.
“More than two billion users turn to WhatsApp each month to send 100 billion messages and to connect more than one billion calls each day. We are and will continue to be committed to your privacy with end-to-end encryption. Always and forever. Happy 12 years WhatsApp!” wrote WhatsApp on Twitter.
Currently, WhatsApp is arguably becoming closer and more transparent to its users because many users are starting to doubt the service, especially from the security of user privacy.
