Xiaomi registered a new folding screen mobile design at the European Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). From the registration, it can be seen that the phone can be folded into three parts and has three rear cameras.
In the video posted by Xiaomi for the registration, they showed how the smartphone could be folded into three parts. Specifically the right and left folded to the middle.
But what’s strange about this design is the right and left screen that will cover the three rear cameras of the cellphone. It is not clear how the explanation of the design of this phone, which is clear that the three rear cameras certainly cannot be used in a closed state.
Even though the dimensions of the mobile in the folded form will be smaller and more comfortable to use to take pictures. In this design, it is also not visible the presence of the front camera on a mobile bezel or in the form of pop-ups.
But this design is still in the patent registration stage, and will not necessarily be continued to the production stage. Xiaomi itself until now does not have a folding-screen smartphone, which was previously predicted to appear in Q2 2019 with a price that is only half of the Galaxy Fold.
Although Samsung is yet to sell the Galaxy Fold after they postponed the launch of the smartphone because of the appearance of various reports of problems on the folding screen phone.
Similarly, the presence of other folding screen phones Huawei, Oppo, and other manufacturers are unclear when it will be revealed to the public, however, the first folding-screen phone has started selling.
