Currently, there are many ways you can share WiFi passwords that are connected to your smartphone, from mentioning it directly to using a QR Code.
However, it seems that Google has not considered this as a simple way, so that is why it has developed an easier way without using the QR Code system anymore.
It is stated that the technology comes under the name ‘Nearby Share’ and will be announced on the Android 12 operating system. It is not certain what kind of system Google uses to share WiFi passwords without using QR codes.
However, it is very likely that this feature will later use the NFC feature to transfer data containing passwords from WiFi. The reason is that currently, NFC is arguably one of the smartphone features that people are starting to use.
Also, to make this system work, both the sender and receiver of WiFi passwords are known to be required to run the latest Android 12 operating system.
Unfortunately, there is no further information regarding this technology, considering that the development of Android 12 itself must have only just started considering that Android 11 has also recently been launched and has not even been explored by all Android smartphone users.
