Redmi reportedly is developing a smartphone with high-class specifications. This device is said to be the first smartphone from Redmi which is driven by the Snapdragon 855 chipset.
Recently, a photo circulating which was allegedly showing Redmi’s flagship name. The photo shows a protective plastic sheet that is usually attached to a new smartphone screen in the package. In front of it is the name ‘Redmi K20 Pro’.
The plastic sheet also contains other information, such as the 6.39-inch screen size with AMOLED panels and has an integrated fingerprint scanner. Also listed is 4000mAh battery capacity with the support of fast charging 27 watts.
The Redmi K20 Pro is likely to be equipped with three cameras (triple camera) on the back, one of which has a 48MP resolution. The front camera is called 20MP resolution with AI support and is stored in the pop-up module.
Previously, rumours had circulated that a high-end smartphone from Redmi would be called ‘Redmi X’. However, the news was denied by General Manager Redmi Lu Weibing.
Weibing also had the chance to reveal that this top-class smartphone will be equipped with three features, namely NFC, 3.5mm audio jack, along with cameras with ultra-wide lenses.
Because this is a first Redmi flagship device after standing alone as a sub-brand Xiaomi, then K20 Pro is supposed to be the first model in its line of smartphones.
