Although it can be played in almost all gadgets, from smartphones to game consoles, Fortnite’s phenomenal game is reportedly still not available for the Apple TV platform.
Fortnite developers, Epic Games, confirmed that they had no plans to bring the game to Apple TV after a Twitter account posted a game code image that included references to the tvOS platform.
“Reference to tvOS in the Fortnite file is the result of Unreal Engine support for the Apple TV platform,” Epic Games said in a statement reported by TechRadar
The Unreal Engine is a game platform used by many developers to run their games, including Fortnite, but the word ‘tvOS’ seems to be used in a different context and has nothing to do with preparation for the launch of the Fortnite game on Apple TV.
Some observers suspect that the Epic Games have prepared good news regarding the game that will be brought to Apple TV, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.
Playing games using the Apple TV remote doesn’t sound easy, even though there are game controllers on Apple TV that are provided by third parties.
With that game controller, the experience of playing Fortnite on Apple TV will be easier. However, this is what is still being debated until now.
