The Nova series under the Huawei brand is one of the most dazzling mid-range smartphones you can come across in the mobile phone world. Keeping up this reputation, the Chinese powerhouse has announced the Huawei Nova 5. The smartphone enjoys a fabulous 7nm chipset, Kirin 810 – the first of such build to be found in a midranger.

Huawei Nova 5 Features (Preview)
When you behold the Nova 5, you’re witnessing an aesthetically pleasing smartphone. There are the Black, Purple and Green colourations of the smartphone, but I’m fondly attracted to the Green iteration. It’s as light as feathers because of the 171g weight.
You’ll be entertained by the crispness and contrast of the 6.39-inch OLED capacitive touchscreen that serves as the phone’s display. This display comes with 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution and DCI-P3 108% colour gamut. Interestingly, the OLED panel gives room for the under display fingerprint sensor for touch ID security.
Still on security affairs, the 32MP front camera safely guards the smartphone through the Facial Detection system. Well, that adds to its photographic portfolio. Moving to the rear, three shooters – 48MP, 8MP and 2MP sensors are arranged vertically on top of one another. A slightly conspicuous fourth 2MP camera is placed right beside them.
What makes the Huawei Nova 5 tick is the brand new HiSilicon Kirin 810 SoC. Built on the 7nm process, the chipset features an Octa-core processor that speeds up to 2.27GHz and Mali-G52 MP6. An 8GB RAM enters the equation to control the multitasking duties effectively. Also, a 128GB internal storage stores all forms of files on the smartphone. You can increase the storage through a Nano Memory card of 256GB.
Power dissemination is properly handled by a 3,500mAh battery. It charges from 0% to 85% within the space of 30 minutes due to the 40W Fast Charge. Not to forget, Android 9.0 Pie OS and Emotion 9.1 UI are available for all software roles.
