With aluminium alloy being used as its body material, Huawei P20 Pro looks like a darling. Added to this, the triple camera setup at the rear makes it more attractive. Its fore bears the AMOLED glass that’s stretched to the limit of 18.7:9 aspect ratio. Also sporting the bezel-less display & top notch, the smartphone has its fingerprint scanner placed beautifully at its bottom bezel.
Its display is sized at a humongous 6.1 inches with the presence of 1080 X 2240 pixels resolution. The mobile can be dipped to about 1m in water for 30mins, earning it the IP67 certification. In the software section, the Android 8.1 Oreo OS is on duty although it has the support of Huawei’s EMUI 8.1. One of the interesting features of the UI is the App Twins; this feature allows users to clone apps.
Moving straight to its storage, the device has 128GB internal memory for storing files. No support for memory card on the device so the user can enjoy the jumbo nature of the ROM. The multitasking skill set of the smartphone can be attributed to the super 6GB RAM. Also, the chipset on the device is the HiSilicon Kirin 970 AI alongside an octa-core CPU of 2.4GHz speed. Top of the line ARM Mali-G72 MP12 orders the graphics production of the smartphone.
Here’s the most interesting part: the triple rear camera setup. These cameras have stunning qualities of 40MP, 20MP and 8MP. Added to these, Huawei partners with Leica optics to spice the camera experience. There’s a LED flash that provides brightness in dark conditions. The front camera uses a sound 24MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture for taking photos. This smartphone charges rapidly to the point that it attains 58% battery percentage just after 30mins. It is heavily powered by a non-removable Li-Po 4,000mAh battery.
