The Huawei Y8s arrives with the notch design that houses two front cameras on the 6.5-inch IPS display. One of these cameras is the 8MP wide shooter with f/2.0 aperture and 2MP depth shooter with f/2.4 aperture. Also within the notch arena are the ambient light sensor and proximity sensor.
Still, on the camera aspect, you have a dual 48MP primary shooter and a 2MP depth shooters at the rear of the device. These cameras are supported by AI technology that brings scene optimisation skills to the table. There’s also a LED flash that adds brightness to images taken in low light conditions.
All the images captured on this device can be stored on either the 64GB or 128GB storage depending on the variant purchased. Both versions of the smartphone have 4GB RAM to do their multitasking duties.
At the core of operations is the Kirin 710F SoC with octa-core 2.2GHz processor. This chipset is also loaded with Mali-G51 MP4 GPU for graphics dealings. Meanwhile, Android 9 Pie and EMUI 9 take perfect charge of software flows on the smartphone. And yes, you can use Google Play Services on this Huawei mobile.
