All the way from South Korea, LG has unveiled a new smartphone with lots and lots of goodies for the regular smartphone lover to embrace. This smartphone is the LG Q9. The smartphone is LG’s way of rebranding the LG G7 Fit that was released last year.
All the same, the LG Q9 packs features such as the Snapdragon 821 SoC, boombox speakers, MIL-STD-810G compliance, waterproof and dust resistance. Keep on reading to know what these features entail, as well as, other cool details of the device.

Now, let’s not focus on the fact that Q9 is adorned with aluminium alloy and glass components. Instead, let’s see how rugged the device is. The MIL-STD-810G grants the smartphone drop resilience. In lieu of this, the smartphone is battle-ready for sharp falls. Then comes the IP68 certification that guarantees you zero problems when the phone is immersed in 1.5m water for 30 minutes.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 is the power source of the device. Although the 14nm chipset is competent, it’s noteworthy that it’s a 2016 model. At the time, that was Qualcomm’s flagship SoC. However, the chip contains Quad-core Kryo CPU that clocks at 2.15GHz.
Also on the chip is the Adreno 530 GPU that attends to the phone’s graphics. The display goodness is further attended to by 1440 x 3120 pixels on the 6.1-inch IPS LCD screen. Features such as 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 82% STB ratio and 564PPI density are additional determinants of the excellent display.
One thing that keeps the phone multitasking alive is the 4GB LPDDR4X RAM. As big as the RAM is, so also is the internal memory of 64GB. What’s more, it can grow to 512GB with the services of a MicroSD card.
Only two cameras are on the smartphone – 16MP rear and 8MP at the front. Android 8.1 Oreo OS runs the software operations on the gadget. Giving the phone its duration juice is a non-removable 3,000mAh battery.
