Meizu 16s Pro Packs Gaming-focused Snapdragon 855+ and Triple Rear Cameras

Meizu is out with the Meizu 16s Pro, and they mean business as always. This new device portrays the best chipset Qualcomm has to offer in 2019, the Snapdragon 855 Plus. This chipset delivers more performance and gaming excellence like a gaming-focused device. Not just that, the photography department is also well defined by triple rear shooters and a gallant selfie cam.

Meizu 16s Pro Features (Preview)

The Meizu 16s Pro heads out in flying fashion thanks to its cool design. Minimal bezels are seen at the top and bottom of the smartphone while the physical buttons are aligned on the right side. As for the top bezel, it houses the frontal camera, LED flash, a couple of sensors and the earpiece.

An interesting part of the design is the fingerprint sensor that rests under the 6.2 inches Super AMOLED display. Meizu boasts of 0.15 seconds fingerprint unlock through this medium. On the other hand, the display uses a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2232 pixels for clarity of texts and icons. Adding more life to gaming, the display dons a 160Hz refresh rate.

About the gaming aspect, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus sits at the smartphone’s core to command super sleek operations. Attached to it is the Adreno 640 GPU that churns out excellent gaming graphics. Options of 6GB and 8GB are available as RAM on the device variants. The 6GB model is accompanied with 128GB storage while the higher RAM variant further has 128GB and 256GB ROM.

Selfies are handled by the 20MP selfie camera and LED flash. Turning to the rear, the three shooters composed of 48MP wide, 20MP ultra-wide and 16MP telephoto lenses. Android 9 Pie together with Flyme 8 OS settles the software operations. The battery compartment is occupied by the non-removable 3,600mAh Li-Po battery.
